Our transitional age youth workshops are offered for youth ages 16-24 and grade 12 classrooms. They can be booked as stand alone workshops or as a series. Please note that these workshops are presently only available in English
About TAY Workshops
Transitional age youth workshops are focused on mental health literacy and our Youth Facilitators are trained to identify and connect at-risk youth to appropriate mental health supports. During our workshops participants will explore:
- The importance of having a balanced mental health
- How to manage stress
- New coping mechanisms
- How and where to seek help or to help a loved one in case of need.
French Immersion Classrooms: We recognize the challenges that linguistic minorities face when trying to access mental health care services in French. Thus, we are prioritizing our French workshops for francophone schools. If you would like to book a French immersion class, please choose the English option.

Safety: Our facilitators are supported by a clinical social worker and follow a clinical protocol when a youth discloses mental health concerns. We respect the policies in schools and will always work in collaboration to support students in need. However, our facilitators do not offer medical advice or offer clinical services.
Stress-Less as an (Almost) Adult
Description: Though stress is a part of life, youth often face additional stressors as they prepare to transition into adulthood. This workshop explores the biology of stress, the new realities of this transition period and offers some helpful tips & tools to deal with all of it.

Healthy Connections
Description: We can probably all agree that relationships are complicated! Navigating friends, family, partners, expectations and boundaries can sometimes feel challenging. In this workshop, we discuss the evolution of relationships and their impact on mental health, we talk about boundaries and explore some resources and tips to fight isolation and have healthier relationships.

Community Supports 101
Description: Transitioning into adulthood sometimes means that we no longer have access to some of our in-school & community support. Where can I find mental health support? How do I find a family doctor? What are my rights as a renter? We explore these big questions & much more in this workshop!
